Our Partnership
NestED brings together a diverse European partnership of organisations working across vocational education and training, social innovation, sustainable housing, architecture, research, inclusion, and digital communication. Together, the partners combine practical experience and complementary expertise to create learning resources, training approaches, and community-focused solutions that respond to today’s housing, social, and environmental challenges.
The partnership includes organisations from Sweden, Ireland, Germany, Spain, France, and Ukraine, creating a strong international network that reflects different contexts, skills, and perspectives. This diversity is one of the project’s strengths, helping NestED develop results that are both locally grounded and relevant across Europe.
Coompanion Göteborg ek. för.
SwedenCoompanion Göteborg is the coordinator of the NestED project and a long-standing expert in cooperative entrepreneurship, social innovation, and community-led development. With more than 30 years of experience, the organisation supports inclusive and sustainable initiatives that strengthen local communities and create lasting social value. Within NestED, Coompanion leads project coordination and contributes its expertise in cooperative housing, sustainability, and community-based approaches.
Manorhamilton Development CLG / Future Cast
IrelandFuture Cast is an innovation-driven organisation specialising in vocational education, construction training, and emerging technologies. Its work connects education, research, and industry, with strong experience in digital tools, sustainable construction, and Industry 4.0. In NestED, Future Cast brings technical and research expertise, helping to shape case studies, support quality management, and strengthen innovative learning pathways for the future of sustainable housing.
Outside Media & Knowledge UG
GermanyOutside Media & Knowledge (OMK) is a VET and adult education specialist focused on inclusion, communication, and creative learning. The organisation works closely with migrants, refugees, women, NEETs, and other underrepresented groups, using storytelling, video, and digital media to make learning more accessible and engaging. In NestED, OMK leads dissemination and communication, while also contributing multimedia resources and creative strategies that help project results reach and inspire diverse audiences.
Bienesdar
SpainBienesdar is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to well-being, education, sustainability, and community empowerment. Its work focuses on supporting vulnerable groups, promoting social inclusion, and encouraging practical, community-based responses to housing and ecological challenges. In NestED, Bienesdar leads the development of the sustainable community-building curriculum, bringing valuable experience in inclusive education, housing-related initiatives, and participatory learning.
Quatorze
FranceQuatorze is a Paris-based nonprofit organisation specialising in social and solidarity-based architecture, participatory design, and sustainable urban development. With many years of experience working alongside vulnerable communities, Quatorze combines architecture, education, and social innovation through hands-on co-design and co-construction methods. In NestED, the organisation contributes practical expertise in participatory building and supports the technical curriculum for planning and constructing tiny homes.
V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University
UkraineV. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University is one of Ukraine’s leading higher education institutions, with strong expertise in research, vocational education, engineering pedagogy, and innovative teaching methods. The university brings academic depth and extensive experience in digital learning, inclusive education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. In NestED, Karazin contributes pedagogical innovation, research capacity, and an important perspective on housing resilience, workforce development, and support for displaced communities.
Working together
Each partner plays a distinct role in the project, contributing to different work packages while also collaborating across research, curriculum development, training, dissemination, sustainability, and community engagement. This cross-sector cooperation ensures that NestED combines educational quality, practical relevance, and long-term impact.
